Tattoos have been adopted by people world over. In Japan people
wear facial tattoos and it is quite common among people of South
America and North America. Though there is some taboo associated
with tattoos but still tattoos are quite popular world over. The
word tattoos has been derived from Samoan word 'tatau'. Tattoo
fans refer to tattoos as ink, tats, work or art and the tattooists
are referred to as artists. Tattoos have become so popular that
now mainstream galleries are holding exhibitions of tattoo designs
and tattoo pictures. Tattoo designs displayed on shops are called
